Aminu Adamu
Aminu Adamu enrolled at Federal Government College Malali, Kaduna in November 1992 as a member of the graduating class of 1998.
He was in in Volta House.
Aminu earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng) degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Yola, Adamawa State.
Aminu started his career shortly after his graduation, with Triacta Nigeria Limited, constructing highways in Gombe and other Northern Nigeria states.
He moved to the UK in 2010 to study for his Masters’ degree in Environmental Engineering & Project Management at the University of Leeds.
He’s had brief stints with Barclays Bank and KPMG before picking up a role with the Environment Agency as a Flood Risk Management Officer.
Aminu continues to work with the Environment Agency as a Project Manager.
He loves working with and helping others, and volunteers as a STEM and ICE Ambassador and is working towards accreditation as a professional coach.
Aminu is pleased to serve as Ex-Officio on the FGCK UK Alumni Association and member of its’ 2022 Executive team.
Aminu is married and resides with his wife in Leeds, and together they are blessed with 4 children.
